Daphne, our 1983 Daimler DS420 Limousine wedding car joined us in February of this year.
This is a great example of the last real limousine built by Daimler. The model was produced from 1968 until 1992, with a total production of 4141 vehicles.
Clients varied from Heads of State, Ministries of Defence, Government agencies and of course Royalty. These vehicles were a favourite of the late Queen Mother, who had five of these cars, with three still in active service with the British Royal Family today.
Most recently, these were seen at the wedding of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, where they were used to transport the Bridesmaids and the Earl & Countess of Wessex to Westminster Abbey.
The Royal Courts in Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, Monaco and many presidents around the world have these cars in their collection.
This car has a large rear seat and occasional seating which will accomodate all bridal dress designs or 6 adults. (three adult Bridesmaids, a pageboy, a Flowergirl & the Brides Mother and allow for comfortable travel to the ceremony.
